National Pothole Day
January 15th is a day in which awareness is raised for the impact that potholes can have to cars, cyclists as well as pedestrians.
Although the potholes might not be quite as bad as the picture above, potholes do litter many of the UK’s roads and are a nuisance for any road user.
Councils are legally required to ensure their roads are properly maintained. If you have suffered injury as a result of a faulty pothole, then you could have a claim for compensation.
When submitting a claim for a highway tripping case, photographs are the key piece of evidence to help us achieve the best results possible. Depending on the severity of the fall, it will help your case if you are capable of taking timestamped pictures of the pothole. This preparation will increase your chances of a successful claim.
