Map shows locations of England’s worst-rated ‘inadequate’ hospitals
“Almost 11% of hospitals in England are ‘inadequate’ or ‘require improvement’ – and a new map has highlighted where they are located.
There are 2,393 hospitals in England and of those, 245 ‘require improvement’ and 23 are classed as ‘inadequate’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
This number includes both NHS and private sites. The CQC regulates all hospitals in the country.”
