Pabla + Pabla announce the expansion of their Medical and Dental Negligence Team
The importance of pursuing Clinical Negligence claims cannot be underestimated and should not be considered as unfairly placing a burden on NHS financial resources. It is essential that patients have access to a proper legal process in order to hold the medical profession to account, at what can be the worst time of our clients’ lives, having been left with serious and sometime life changing injuries. Such claims ultimately make an essential contribution to the safety of medical practice.
On starting the department in May 2021, Joanne Maher, Head of Clinical Negligence says it very soon became apparent that the department was going to grow quickly. Joanne insisted that we needed to stay ahead of development to ensure that our clients were provided with the service they deserved. Support was soon provided in the guise of Niamh McManus, our valued Litigation Assistant. Niamh has made a significant contribution and been enthused by this challenging and very worthy area of legal practice, which has motivated Niamh to commence her legal training, supported by the firm.
The success of the department has continued to grow, and Joanne says that the support and commitment shown by the firm to its development has been outstanding. Joannes’ desire to recruit senior lawyers in order to stay ahead of the game so ensuring the provision of the best service possible was received with openness by the firm. As a result, the team now consists of three grade A lawyers, following the introduction of both Karen Booth and Kirsty Buckley. Karen Booth is a Senior Lawyer who has brought a wealth of Clinical Negligence experience and knowledge, and Kirsty Buckley an existing Associate Partner brining 10 years litigation experience to the team. We anticipate continued progression and expansion to enable us to assist more of our clients both locally and nationally.
The team has passion and dedication to providing experienced, personal, and compassionate legal representation. Clinical injury can happen to anyone, including lawyers, and so our clients are an extension of us.
There is no limit to the type of cases we pursue, which includes dental negligence claims. Dental Negligence claims can involve problems with implants, crowns, veneers etc. Other claims we pursue can include birth injuries to both mother and baby, spinal or brain injuries, surgical cases, delayed diagnosis of medical conditions, the list really is endless.
